Annual Loreto Vigil at Knock; The 23rd Eucharistic Loreto Vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Saturday 24th-Sunday 25th of March. The Vigil will begin at 8.30pm with Eucharistic Adoration, Benediction &Veneration of the Precious Relic from the Holy House of Loreto. Mass will take place at 11.30pm in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel with celebrant Fr Brendan Walsh, SAC.




Folk Choir ; Practice for holy week ceremonies on Tuesday 20th of March @ 8.30pm. All members please attend.

Annaghdown GAA Lotto; There was no winner or match 3's in our weekly lotto. The promoters prize goes to Padraic Fahy. Next weeks jackpot will be for €6,250 with the draw taking place in the clubhouse on Monday night next. Annaghdown GAA registration day will be held on the 25th of March from 11:45 to 1:30 in Cregg.



Annaghdown LGFA Activity Camp; 27th/28th of March. 10am-2pm. Boys and Girls senior infants to sixth class. All members and non-members welcome. Venue: Annaghdown GAA Grounds. Annaghdown GAA Hurling ; Easter Hurling Camp is running for 3 days from Wed April 4th to Fri April 6th,  10am-2pm daily in Annaghdown GAA grounds in Cregg. All children from 7-14 are welcome. Cost is €25 each to be paid on 1st day. For further details please contact respective managers. Some celebrity hurling guests will visit the camp.

Cycling News Flash; The Annaghdown Annual Cycle now in the 31st year takes place Sat/Sun 28th/29th of April. We are heading for the hills of Ennistymon this year and expecting a full crew. All enquiries to 086-1610000.


Annaghdown Golf Society; 1st outing on 24th March at Portumna Golf Club 9am to 11am.We for looking for new members to join and lapsed members to re-join. Only 20 per member and 10 for each additional member of the same household. There are 7 outings during the season as well as an away outing to Strandhill, Co Sligo. Hanger Lane Pre-Loved Clothing Market; Sun 29th April. 11am-2pm. Men, women and children of all ages welcome, in Corrandulla Hall. €2 entry fee or €10 to hire a clothes rail and sell your own excess clothing. Charity Concert; The Cunningham School of Music with Cómhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann present a Gala Evening of Irish Music Song and Dance in St. Fursa’s Hall Headford on Friday March 23rd @ 8 pm. Adm. €10. Concessions at the door for OAP’s and families. All proceeds to Alzheimers Society of Ireland. Please support this great cause.
Annaghdown Bethany Bereavement Support Group: As you mourn the loss of a loved one, whether recent or in the past, just a reminder that the Bethany Bereavement Group offers support and an opportunity to talk in confidence with a trained listener.
